WeLove Films was the Mirro's Lovefilm affiliate--now defunct


		We Love Films DVD Rental Review
		WeLoveFilms shut down in mid-2006, but we keep this review up as it was for posterity. We Love Films was launched in spring 2005 by The Mirror. The rental service is powered by the large Lovefilm company; we like the fading dark blues and top login area, but the main body of the site is a perfect clone of Lovefilm's, though they only offer a single subscription level. The similarity in system begs the questions--why go with the Sofa Cinema middleman at all, why not stick with the specialists at Lovefilm? One thing we will give them credit for is the presence of a customer service phoneline, rare among Lovefilm affiliates, which is even open 10-4 on weekends. Prices: Their free trial period is a rare 28 days, though you probably won't be able to get a free trial if you've already tried another Lovefilm-powered site. Their only unlimited subscription is for 3 disc subscription at an industry standard £14.99.

		Stewart from Poole, July 30, 2005 Long free trial period but the turnaround was anything up to 5 days. One week I had only 2 discs as the third disc was registered as 'sent' then 'returned' without reaching me! Customer service failed to respond to my complaints about this and a wrong disc being sent.
