The My Movies DVD rental service is powered by the large Lovefilm company. What we don't like is that unlike some other affiliates, they didn't even make an effort to differentiate the site other than the top banner. Even the color is the same, and if you missed the banner, you'd think you were at Lovefilm. We've said it before, but it applies even more than usual to this cloned site: why go with the My Movies middleman at all, why not stick with the specialists at Lovefilm?
Prices: Their free trial period is 6 discs within 14 days. You won't be able eligible for another free trial if you've already had one with any Lovefilm "powered-by" site . Their 1 disc subscription is the industry standard £9.99, while their 3 disc subscription is £15.99. If you want to cancel, you must let them know and be sure all DVDs arrive back by the end of the trial period. Unlike some Lovefilm "powered by" sites, My Movies does not offer console game rentals.
