I was recently offered a free trial DVD rental from CDWow, I had this trial for one day and did not like the changes being made to my account which I felt I could not control i.e. the trial was set to 2 DVDs per month, when I tried to change to 3 per month the number of DVDs PCM on my account didn't change but my free trial dissappeared! I cancelled immediately and have now been charged 20 which CD-Wow have refused to refund! My advice is to be very careful with CD-Wow - the trial says it is free but actually costs 20 even if you don't rent a single DVD. As a general rule I would not give CD-Wow my credit card details ever again.

Recently rejoined CDWow on a 3 months for price of 1 trial. First 3 discs came quick and the enevelopes said put all the discs into one, so I did, and the problems began. nearly a week now and the 2 discs are showing up as unreturned even though the other arrived and was sent out within 24 hours. Contacted customer services 3 times, no replys.... Not impressed.

CD Wow! service started off brilliantly when I started a trial in Dec 05. It has now become dreadful. A one week turnaround on each DVD rental. I understand Tiscali have taken over the business and are intentionally delaying the DVD turn around process. Time to find another service I think.

CD Wow seemed great during the free trial, discs were sent out promptly and we got top titles, However, since we have started paying the £14.99 a month, the DVD's have dried up. I email their customer service department and just get told each time 'Sorry, none of the DVD's in your queue are available at the moment' Coincidence ??? You be the judge

I have noticed a major decline in CD Wow's service (especially turn-around time) this year. Hence leaving them and joining Screenselect.

I buy my CDs from CD Wow! and had a go at their DVD rental free trial (the 5 quid voucher is a definite plus). I was unimpressed with their mailing time and customer service though, so I moved to Screenselect.
